Orchesys Announces a Remote Managed Service for Storage Backup Monitoring
SUNNYVALE, October 1st, 2008 --Orchesys®, Inc.,a leader in providing Storage Professional Services for Enterprises and major Storage Vendors, has announced Data Protection Audit in its Orchesys Storage Managed Service (OSMS) family of products. The Data Protection Audit provides an audit report of the characteristics of a user’s total backup environment using an agent-less software monitoring tool that does not have to be purchased or installed by the user.
The OSMS Data Protection Audit can be completed in as little as four weeks and provides the user with a comprehensive report that delivers a concise picture of the organization’s backup environment - including backup success and failure, root cause analysis and growth trends. This information is presented together with the organization’s performance against recoverability, service level agreements, systems utilization and compliance.
